Participation: What to Expect
We are always looking for new voices, new stories.
I usually start with an interview, recording how you got the scar, how you felt at that time in their life, and what you learned from their experiences. I then construct a narrative to create a cohesive story.
It is a collaborative effort, you can make edits and have full ownership of their published story. Throughout this writing process, I will paint your scars.
Anyone with a scar can participate. Healing can sometimes be imperfect and messy, and we can learn and help each other through the process.
